The Millbrook Library Art Gallery serves to enrich the patron experience, and showcase local talent. The Gallery is located on the main floor of the Library, and is the site of exhibits and art shows by many local artists and art groups. Many of the artists offer formal openings for the public to come and appreciate the artists’ work. The Gallery hosts a new artist every month to two months.

Connecting the Threads: A Quilt Exhibit
On display November 29, 2023 – January 4, 2023

Anne Pomeroy, an artistic quilter of over 25 years, has a passion for fiber arts. They describe their process of creativity as listening to the fabric for both the design and color combinations, for how the fabrics speak to one another. Each piece reflects a pattern of listening at the time of its creation. The quilting lines are free-motion designs to bring out the spirit of each piece.

How to Submit Work for Consideration
The Gallery welcomes exhibits by all artists. The exhibits are hung by the artist themselves, and are usually on display for one month. For more information, please refer to our Gallery Exhibition Policy. Samples of work are required before an exhibit can be scheduled.
Exhibition Presentation, Installation, and Dismantling
Two-dimensional artwork must be suitably framed and wired for hanging. Each piece may weigh a maximum of 45 pounds. The artist of three-dimensional works must provide appropriate pedestals, platforms, and cases as needed. Installation and de-installation dates will be agreed upon and arranged in advance. Any special installation costs or display needs are the responsibility of the artist.
