Library of Things

The Library currently offers a variety of things for you to check out, in addition to our traditional print and media collections.

The majority of items in the Library of Things can be checked out for fourteen days at a time. Items in this collection are subject to a replacement fee if the item is not returned within two weeks of its due date.

Prior to borrowing tools or equipment, all patrons must sign the Library of Things Lending Agreement, Waiver, and Indemnification Form. Items must be returned in person to the Library’s circulation desk. Items may not be returned through the outside book drop.

How It Works:

  • Each item has a sign representing it on shelves in the non-fiction room.
  • Bring the sign that corresponds with the item you’d like to borrow (including its plastic display case) to the front circulation desk.
  • Fill out the library’s lending agreement.
  • Library staff will check the item out to you.
  • Keep the item for up to 14 days.
  • Return the item to the Millbrook Library circulation desk (Please don’t place it in the book drop.)
